is a 46-acre park located in
Teaneck in Bergen County’s Overpeck Park. The park has
trails for
walking, jogging, and nature observation in a beautiful forested
landscape. Teaneck Creek Conservancy offers unique outdoor
environmental and cultural programs. Programs include trailside
eco-art exhibitions, nature and history walks, performative
public
art, geocaching, and special school programs
Hackensack River Canoe and Kayak
Club encourages
canoeing and kayaking with a positive social experience while
fostering
a spirit of respect and conservation toward our rivers and lakes.
The Friends have done several events with them. A great
group of people.
Their activities extend to nearby CT, NY and PA.
The Garden Club of
Teaneck a
long-established organization whose main purpose is to promote
and pursue horticultural interests.

environmental restoration and education.

"WMA 5 encompasses the 165 square-mile watersheds of
the Hackensack River, Pascack
Brook and Hudson River. It spans from the New York State border
to Newark Bay, and includes 61 municipalities in Bergen and
Hudson Counties. The WMA 5 PAC is composed of approximately 100
stakeholders in the watershed, representing a broad
spectrum of diverse interests. Our website provides details on
